We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit that is passionate about improving health for mom and baby through increased access to education and resources for families in the Alleghany Highlands! We are currently offering classes educational classes, a support closet, and lactation counseling! No one should go through this journey alone, all are welcome here.
What We Do
Birth Doula
Birth doulas are hired for pregnancy and birth to provide pain management support, encouragement, guidance of the non-trained birth team (husbands, sisters, friends, etc.)

Postpartum Doula
Postpartum doulas are trained to support families on navigating changes once a baby is born through guidance in baby care, feeding, and soothing. Our rate is for 10 hours of service with an option for overnight care.

Support Closet
Our support closet accepts new and gently used maternity and baby items and redistrubutes them to families in the community through support requests. The closet is located at 511 McCormick Blvd, Clifton Forge.

Lactation Counseling
A session with a Lactation Educator will assess the baby's feeding, provide hands-on assistance, and create personalized strategies to help families meet their breastfeeding goals. Provides support with pumping too!
